Here is my tree triptych while underway.
It was intended to be a quietly stylish decorator piece, a simple silouette. But as usual the bright colours took over.
Ta da! All done!
There's a great post on 'surrender Vs giving up' here on Christine Kane's blog. I surrendered to something recently, so it was pertinent to me. I haven't given up though and neither should you! There is strength in surrender. More wisdom along those lines here in Jen Lemen's artwork.
wonderful painting and i loved seeing the three stages and also your workspace.o
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteAWESOME!! Patti this is so cool and I really enjoyed looking at the process. Thanks for sharing this one!
ReplyDeleteI too enjoyed watching the process and how it ended up looking like your signature colorful artwork! I also like your new header. Forgive me for commenting perhaps late, as often I read your posts in my blog reader. All looks beautiful, Patti. Blessings and love, O
ReplyDeleteHi Pam - just wanted to say that I really love how the tryptich turned out - I've been considering doing one for a while - and I think this just may have been the kick-up-the-bum that I needed! And of course - I love your vibrant energy that hines through. Thanks for the inspiration, X Donna
ReplyDeleteOK - don't I feel like a right dill - sorry Patti!!! - I had just visited another blog and had that name on my mind (pam) lol! Can I blame it on the fact that I haven't had a morning cuppa yet?!!!
ReplyDeleteUnique style and great work.
ReplyDeleteI've also been a little creative lately by writing a book titled The Feng Shui Way. I draw this to your attention because there are so many different styles and The Feng Shui Way is unique in that it explains the basic premise (without the nonsense) behind each method and demystifies Feng Shui. If you have any questions I am most willing to offer my views on this topic.

ReplyDeleteThere is something very balanced about a triptych, this is lovely.
