A patchwork fish design....
I have been enjoying my days off and today I watched the Melbourne Cup . It is such an important race day for most Australians, we reckon it should be a public holiday! A French horse "Dunaden" won today by a whisker!
Interesting fact: Did you know that Australian racehorses receive chiropractic care, because it makes them run faster?
I didn't know that Patti! I didn't even know that Australians liked horse racing until you mentioned going to the races before.

ReplyDeleteNo, I did not know that about race horses. I do remember my father taking us to the races once when we were visiting Los Angeles, CA. I was ten. I do think MY horse won!
this reminds me a bit of Paul Klee. just saw a movie about him in fact. no, didnt know that about the horses. i personally can't watch horse races as i feel so badly for the horses to have to do that for people's amusement. perform. ah well. be well, suki
