With my daughter moving out of home, there has been lots of decluttering going on.  We have identified piles of stuff and old furniture to go to charity, other piles of stuff to go to the council tip... it's been keeping me pretty busy and the new energy bouncing about feels so good!

Yesterday I began preparing the walls of the vacated downstairs area ready for painting.  Any bits of furniture remaining has been moved to the centre of the loungeroom and today, I washed the walls with sugar soap.  A great workout!!

Then soon, on to painting the lounge area, bedroom, bathroom, stairwell and hall.  Lots to do, so we'll plug away at it and hopefully be completed in a couple of weeks.  We're quite excited about having this new found space, so we're well and truly motivated.  Now I must get back to work....

  1. nice spring cleaning and tidying work i love to paint walls, play some music and have at it

  2. painting walls is so therapeutic, but do watch the tendons and muscles.

  3. It's good to see you, Patti. What a nice life change coming up, a whole new phase. Peace and love, O

  4. Enjoy the new spaces, Patti! I hope you are painting some colors that will make you smile everyday. Cheers !

  5. What a busy lady you are going to be! I can't wait to see the finished project (you will post some photos, right?). Enjoy!
