Pleasure and Pain

You may have noticed that I have added some "music for the soul" to the top right hand corner of the page. I will change the song every time I post, so you can listen to something new each time you browse. Musically, I tend to exist in a sixties/seventies timewarp, so I hope you enjoy it too.

The irrepressible Eileen has tagged me to reveal my pleasure/pain, happiness/sadness. This actually required some thought, so here it is, in no particular order;

What are five things that give you physical pleasure?
1. sensual moments with my man of 27years (not a toyboy, married for 27yrs!)
2. massage
3. driving through a deep dip in the road and your belly flips
4. soft, cool grass under my bare feet
5. sunshine on my back

What are five things that make you immediately angry
1. intolerance
2. abuse/bullying
3. injustice
4. intolerance (yes, I'm repeating myself but it makes me really angry!)
5. abuse/bullying (ditto)

What are five things that make you automatically happy?
1. lighting candles
2. having my family all under the one roof
3. learning something new
4. being creative
5. music

What are five things that make you automatically sad?
1. poverty
2. war
3. illness/dying
4. the evening news on tv
5. unhappy familes

  5. Second thoughts you might be interested to know:
1)Its weird reading my mums blog. All of a sudden you realise shes not just your mum but a person (not that i ever thought you were anything other than that!) and i find it awesome to read this and get exposure to a side of you i dont get to see usually cuz your.. well mum!!
2)at first i was slightly disturbed to hear bout your sensual moments with your man (ie my dad) - but then i changed my mind and think its pretty cool that you still have those moments after all this time, and its conforting to know you guys still have such a strong and loving relationship. Especially in this age where divorce is so common and marriage doesnt appear to mean what it used to, or what its supposed to.
3)Your one of my bestest friends and i love you to death!! I really value the relationship i have with you! xoxox
