Finding Inspiration

Since I'm on the verge of starting a new fish painting, I thought I'd play with some designs before I start, to squeeze out a little fresh inspiration. For this design I used water-colour, inks and acrylic paint.

Journaling has taught me that what you begin with isn't necessarily what you end up with. That it's good to take twists and turns when you're creating, take risks because you never know what might happen!  Sounds a lot like life to me too!

  1. May I use your Rumi quote on my blog. I love it. Take risks. Yes. Have fun with your new series.

  2. I love this one Patti. I hope that your show is going well.

I enjoy Julia Cameron's creative pages. They start out nowhere at all and end up where they are supposed to be.

    Peace and love, O
