Art Every Day - A Basket of Fruit

A basket full of mangoes, lemons, kiwi fruit, bananas and an apple, in watercolour pencils. I'm tossing up whether to add water to this or simply leave it as is. It is not my best effort, but I thought I would post it any way, if only to prove that I am actually creating every day! Mangoes are back in season again here in Australia. Yay! I love eating them and sucking the juice and flesh from the seed and skin. The smell of ripe mango is just the best thing ever.

  2. I have only tasted truly ripe mango twice: once in Bolivia and once in Florida. What an experience! You can't get them truly ripe in stores outside of tropical areas, so most people have no idea how they are supposed to taste. I'm glad you posted your still life anyway. I like it.

  5. Very nice as it is. There is something about posting a picture every day...I don't even know what it is. Some kind of challenge and/or at times pressure. I post things I am not thrilled with. But for me it is part of creating to make some things that don't thrill me. The surprise is that often other people respond positively to the thing I don't like so much. Which shows me who am I to judge my own or anyone's stuff.

  6. Hi, Patti. Consider yourself tagged for 7 random things if you have not already done it. And if you want to.
